The house is ideally located in Garitsa Bay, historically one of the two main ports of the old city of Corfu. Today it's a picturesque bay dotted with yachts and fishing boats, with commanding views across the water of the city and the Old Fort. This quiet neighbourhood was one of the first suburbs of the town and it still retains a village feel with its family-run businesses, balconies, bougainvillea, and the smell of fresh laundry swaying in the wind.

Walk for a few minutes and you can be at the waterfront to join the locals for a morning dip off the rocks in the serene blue sea. Within one minute of the house you can find grocers, mini market and bakeries to pick up fresh bread and other supplies. The waterfront itself is lined with tavernas, small bars and cafes where you can take your morning coffee or perhaps an evening drink as the sun goes down and you watch the city light up across the water.
